Introduction

hrguide is an online subscription based software product for generating employment, health & safety and human resources documents for use by employers.

Customer Information

Customers should always check that the contact information they provide is correct before proceeding to payment.

Electronic Products

Due to the electronic and personalised nature of the hrguide website no right of cancellation or refund exists under Regulation 13 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 once a subscription has been purchased by you.

Customer Complaints

hrguide endeavours to respond to complaints within 5 working days.

Copyright & Licence

The purchase of a subscription fromhrguide gives the Customer a licence to use the documents and legal information contained therein for the period of the licence, subject to limitations described in these terms and conditions.

All the forms and resulting documents are and remain the copyright of hrguide. Furthermore the copyright notice and document reference details at the end of each document shall not be removed or altered in anyway by the Customer.

Customers may not re-sell, re-publish, copy or distribute any hrguide document or any part thereof for use by any third party, including another organisation within a group.

Customers may not share their unique username or password used to access their Account page.

Customers must notify hrguide of any changes to their contact details, including their email address.

hrguide reserves the right to withdraw (without refund) access to any product where it is believed (solely by hrguide) that usernames & passwords have been disclosed to a third party or documents have been shared.

If you suspect that your username & password are being used by a third party you should contacts us immediately via our Contact page.

hrguide will not issue any refunds either in full or part where access to any product is withdrawn due to a breach or suspected breach of these Terms & Conditions by the Customer.

Minimum Age Policy

No age-restricted content is provided on the website

Subscription Refunds and Cancellation Policy

Subscriptions commence on the date of order ("Commencement Date") and continue until terminated by the Supplier by no less than 30 days written notice to expire on an anniversary of the Commencement Date or by the Customer within 30 days of the Supplier's notice of the renewal of the subscription as specified below.

The Supplier will notify the customer by letter or e‐mail before each anniversary of the Commencement Date of the price payable for the next subscription period and of any change to the licence terms and conditions applicable to this product.

Promotion Codes and Corporate Rate Discounts

All discounts and promotional or corporate rates are effective only on annual subscriptions and will not apply to monthly renewals. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

No refund is available in the event of cancellation at any point during the subscription period in respect of any Goods or subscription services.

Liability

hrguide tries to ensure that all documents and information contained within the website or any other website operated by us are accurate and reflect the law at the time of use.

However, neither hrguide, its Directors or officers, partners of hrguide, or third party sales agents shall be liable for any losses that arise from relying upon the documents or information within either the hrguide website or any other website operated by us. Or where the Customer decides to act or not to act based upon the information contained within the website.

Neither the contents of the HR How to Guides or any other part of hrguide or any other website operated by us constitute individual legal advice. All of our services should be used in conjunction with proper legal advice where required.

Where hrguide refers a client to or recommends an individual lawyer, law firm or barristers' chambers the client's contractual relationship is strictly with the individual lawyer, law firm or barristers' chambers - not hrguide. Where a client is unhappy with any service provided by an individual lawyer, law firm or barristers' chambers the client should contact the individual lawyer, law firm or barristers' chambers to seek a resolution to the dispute and should follow the dispute resolution service provided by the individual lawyer, law firm or barristers' chambers.

hrguide takes all reasonable steps to ensure that both hrguide and any other website operated by us are available and functioning fully at all times. However, hrguide does not accept any responsibility for "down-time" or poor performance of hrguide fileservers or where any hrguide service is unavailable for any other reason, whether within or outside the direct control of hrguide..

Furthermore hrguide reserves the right to bar users or customers from access to either hrguide or any other website operated by us and any services contained within where a user or customer commits or seeks to commit fraud, attempts to disrupt in any way the services offered by us.

Failure by hrguide to enforce any accrued rights under these Terms & Conditions is not to be taken as or deemed to be a waiver of those rights unless hrguide acknowledges the waiver in writing.

Jurisdiction

This website and any other operated by us are intended for the jurisdiction of England & Wales and as such should not be specifically used or relied upon for any other jurisdiction. hrguide does not accept responsibility for any such use.

These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted, construed and enforced in accordance with English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
